Cheap Stand For A Cheap Price!
As the old saying goes, ya get what ya pay for. I needed an inexpensive snare stand for a student drum set I was selling and didn't want to spend more than necessary. After searching several online sources, this seemed to be the best deal for the dollar. Since this was a double-braced stand, and since the major brand stands were twice the price or more, I thought it would at least meet my needs and I'd save a few bucks.
The stand arrived with free FedEx shipping 11 days after my purchase. Upon arrival, the box seemed very light. When I opened the package, I found a snare stand that I thought was for a child's drum set. Compared to my professional drum hardware, the size seemed miniature, the 3-legged base diameter was very small, the center tube and adjustment knobs were half-size, and the arm tension knob was fragile plastic.
I assembled and adjusted the stand very carefully. It barely supported a 14" snare well enough to help me sell the drum set. Candidly, if...

Cheap stand
This is just a cheap, poorly made stand. The shaft doesn't even fit into the base without disassembling it. And then it was rickety. I just wanted it for a practice pad but it's not even suitable for that.

- Not much heavy duty about it
- I am keeping it for use as a tom stand
- I don't think it would stand up to standard duty use as a snare stand that was broke down and re-setup regularly
