Cymbal Bag; Slinger-Style
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

22" Gatorbag a big disappointment.
I found the Gator GP-12 bag rugged enough, but... it was advertised capable of holding up to 22" cymbals. I think that's just plain misleading. I typically carry one 22", and either a 20" and an 18", or two twenties, along with a pair of 14" hi hats. I found this bag extremely difficult to use because the cymbals simply do not want to all fit. I don't think that I should have to struggle at the end of a long night to get my bag to carry 4 or 5 cymbals. That's not asking too much. I ended up taking out the loose fitting liners, and even then, it would barely zip. I shouldn't have had to do that. I would not recommend this bag to anyone carrying a 22" cymbal. Look elsewhere.

Ok bag, but wish I went with a larger one.
I usually gig with about 7 different cymbals and this bag BARELY contains them all. I struggle to get my 20" ride in the bag, so there's NO WAY this bag will hold a 22" cymbal as stated. It has nice fleece pockets, however, I wish they were fixed to the bag and not removable, because that's just one more thing I need to deal with when packing the bag. Also, if you plan to hold many cymbals then I'd suggest getting a bag with backpack like straps as opposed to the single sling on this model. It does the job, kinda. I'm find myself having to readjust the strap on my shoulder every 15-20 feet. Yeah, the more I think about it, this bag sucks! Look for a better one is my advice.
Smart Choice
Did a lot of online shopping for a good quality cymbal bag and settled on this one by Gator to go with my Wolfpak drum cases (WP doesn't make a cymbal bag that I know of). This bag is sturdily made and looks like it will hold up to what I will throw it's way. There are removable dividers that are very soft and will bathe up to eight of your pies in comfort. This bag also comes with a shoulder strap and one back-pack style strap that I found curious at first, but actually makes sense as it won't slip as easily as the regular shoulder strap. Of course it has standard handles as well if you want to carry it.
Overall, it looks like this bag will provide me years of service doing what it designed to do. Nice job Gator, and well done Amazon, as usuall!
