Background
My first snare stand was a Ludwig snare stand that I outgrew due to the old-school features (featureless really). When I first started upgrading hardware "back in the day" I was a real fan of Tama due to the quality / heavy-duty nature and the reasonable prices. As I got a few more snare drums I thought that Tama was going to get my money, but I checked out Pearl and was pleasantly surprised that they had all the features I needed and were more competitively priced than the Tama so I bought two Pearl S-900 stands and never looked back.
Fast forward twenty *cough* something years and I found myself with a newly purchased TD-20SX and a hope to recycle as much hardware from the old days as possible. I dragged out one of the venerable Pearl S-900 stands that served me so well but found that it didn't really function like I was hoping for with such a small diameter as the found on the PD-125X, so I went in search of a new snare stand. The Best of the rest!
Quite simply this is the snare drum stand to judge all others by, it is loaded with useful features and nothing unesassary. Its rock sold! It has infanate adjustments on the snare basket to get your snare exactly as you want it, the rubber tips "float" your snare for all that rich tone, the Quality is there and its worth every penny! Looking for a snare stand for life this is the one to get! Pearl hardware is where its at!

This 2000 series snare stand is AWESOME! Time for upgrade - had a 20 year old Yamaha snare stand, and wanted to move to Pearl hardware to line up with other H2000/RH2000/Demon Drive pedals and other Pearl hardware - on my BLX kit.
As expected, rugged sturdy Pearl hardware, with all the features you could ask for. The Gyrolock took a little getting used to, but it makes adjusting tilt in all directions simpler - vs. having to spin the post also. Adjustable snare arms makes it easy to seat the snare as you like forward or back - no more having to "center" the snare over the snare. I don't use any smaller snare, but it would easily adjust for down to a 10" soprano snare. Big rubber tips mean you aren't putting pressure on the snare/rim, more just stting nicely in the stand now vs. crimping it in place.
Just fantastic! Pearl hardware is the best out there!
